नेशनल टीबी एलिमिनेशन प्रोग्राम में उपयोग होने वाले कुछ महत्वपूर्ण शार्ट फॉर्म।

भारत में टीबी को जड़ से ख़त्म करने के लिए भारत सरकार के NTEP ( National TB Elimination Programme ) दिनों दिन नई नई तकनीकों और रिसर्च कर रहा है। डेली डॉट्स पद्धति के द्वारा लोगों को टीबी का ट्रीटमेंट मिल रहा है साथ ही एक और नई पद्धति PMTPT  ( Programmatic management tuberculosis preventive treatment ) लाई जा रही है जिसमे पल्मोनरी टीबी मरीजों के परिवार वालो में भी TST और IGRA टेस्ट जो की इंडेक्स पेशेंट यानि पल्मोनरी पॉजिटिव मरीज के कांटेक्ट में आने वाले परिवार के सदस्यों और क्लोज कांटेक्ट में आने वाले लोगो का टेस्ट होगा। IGRA ( interferon-gamma release assay ) और TST दोनों टेस्ट  immune sensitization टेस्ट जो mycobacterial protein antigens का पता लगाकर Pre TB infection को identify करेगा जिससे 2 से 3 सालो में होने वाली टीबी को पहले ही TPT पद्धति अर्थात ट्यूबरक्लोसिस प्रिवेंटिव ट्रीटमेंट  ( tuberculosis preventive Treatment ) से ईलाज किया जा सकेगा। IGRA टेस्ट में इंडेक्स मरीजों का ब्लड सैंपल लिया जायेगा और टेस्ट पॉजिटिव आने पर उन्हें isonizid Tablets बॉडी weight के अनुसार लगभग 6 month तक दी जाएगी।
